The Civil Servant Law of the People's Republic of China was promulgated on April 27, 2005
On April 27, 2005 (March 19, 2005 in the lunar calendar), the "Civil Servant Law of the People's Republic of China" was promulgated. Adopted at the 15th meeting of the 10th National People's Congress Standing Committee, President Hu Jintao issued the 35th Chairperson's Order, and the "Civil Servant Law of the People's Republic of China" was recently promulgated. The law will come into effect on January 1, 2006. The full text of the "People's Daily" (15th Edition) was published on May 11, 2005. At present, an important task before us is to study and implement the Civil Service Law and continuously lead the reform of the cadre personnel system to in-depth. The District Personnel Bureau will organize various departments to study this law earnestly and deeply understand this law in the coming period through various forms such as holding training courses. At the same time, it will also conscientiously do a good job in publicity and interpretation, so that the broad masses of civil servants and the people understand the great significance of promulgating and implementing the Civil Service Law, grasp its spirit, and combine the cultivation and strengthening of the broad masses of civil servants' concepts of knowing the law and acting according to the law with the establishment of a correct concept of power, status, and interests.
