On June 7, 2006 (May 12, 2006 in the lunar calendar), Taiwanese writer Pan Xizhen (pen name Qijun) passed away. Qijun Qijun, born on July 24, 1917, died on June 7, 2006, from Ouhai District, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. He used to be a professor of Chinese at Taiwan Chinese Culture Institute and Central University.
