On January 2, 1932, the Japanese army occupied all the northeastern Jinzhou
On this day, 93 years ago, on January 2, 1932 (November 25, 1931, the Japanese army occupied the northeast of Jinzhou and fell completely. On January 1, 1932, the Japanese invading army launched a general attack on Jinzhou from three sides and occupied Jinzhou on the 2nd. More than 30,000 Chinese troops stationed in China were ordered by the National Government to withdraw into Shanhaiguan with a slight resistance, and all Northeast China fell. After the September 18th Incident, the Kuomintang government implemented a policy of non-resistance, which caused Japanese imperialism to quickly occupy most of Northeast China and invaded Jinzhou, where the Office of the Commander of the Northeast Border Guard is located in November last year. At the instigation of the United States, the National Government proposed to the League of Nations that Jinzhou be designated as a "neutral zone" and that Britain, the United States, France, Italy and other countries would send troops to station it. This suggestion aroused the anger and opposition of the people of the country and overseas Chinese. Overseas Chinese living in Paris severely beat Shi Zhaoji, the representative of China to the League of Nations, and demanded that the National Government withdraw from the League of Nations. The Kuomintang government adhered to the policy of non-resistance. Before the Japanese army attacked Jinzhou, the Jinzhou military and political organs had already withdrawn from Jinzhou into the pass. As a result, the Japanese army successfully occupied Jinzhou without encountering major resistance.
