107 years ago today, on February 28, 1918 (January 18, 1918, the 1918 lunar calendar), 604 people died in the tragic collapse of the Racecourse in China Hong Kong. On February 28, 1918, tens of thousands of people watched the game at the racecourse of the Hong Kong Jockey Club. The stands suddenly collapsed and caught fire. People rushed to flee and crowded around.
