On this day, 74 years ago, on January 25, 1951 (December 18, 1950, the National Esperanto Association of China was established. The All-China Esperanto Association was established in Beijing on March 11, 1951. It is a national academic group of China Esperanto speakers and is responsible for planning, coordinating, liaising, serving and guiding the national Esperanto work. The business competent unit is China Foreign Languages Publishing and Distribution Bureau. Its purpose is to unite and organize Esperanto speakers across the country, carry out Esperanto publicity, study, research and academic exchanges, improve the language level of Esperanto speakers across the country, promote the application of Esperanto, carry out international exchanges of Esperanto, and use Esperanto as my country's reform and opening up, modernization and world peace serve, and gradually promote Esperanto become an international auxiliary language in the future. The external publicity publication "China Report" and Radio International have added Esperanto broadcasts to the outside world since 1964. The Friends of Esperanto Association was established on December 6, 1981. In 1981, the journal "World"(now changed to "National World Association Newsletter") was established as a publicity and guidance publication.
