37 years ago today, on April 3, 1988 (February 17, 1988 lunar calendar), the National People's Congress passed the Law on Industrial Enterprises Owned by the Whole People. In April 1988, the important economic regulation "Law of the People's Republic of China on Industrial Enterprises Owned by the Whole People" was passed at the first session of the Seventh National People's Congress.
