On this day, 36 years ago, on February 13, 1989 (January 8, 1989, the mastermind of Japan's largest bribery case, the Liklut case, was arrested. On February 13, 1989, the prosecutors in Tokyo, Japan, arrested Vice President Hiroshi Jiang, the former chairman of the Likalut Group, on charges of bribery, thus opening a gap in the investigation of the Likalut case, one of Japan's largest bribery cases after the war. The group's business scope covers advertising, information, real estate and tourism. In 1984, Likute Group spent huge sums of money to buy a building on Ginza Street in Tokyo, which has the most expensive land price in the world, as its headquarters.
