On February 15, 2006 (January 18, 2006, the auditing standards system for certified public accountants in my country was officially established. On February 15, 2006, the Ministry of Finance held a press conference on the accounting and auditing standards system at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Minister of Finance Jin Renqing personally issued 39 corporate accounting standards and 48 auditing standards for certified public accountants, which marked the need to adapt to the development of my country's market economy and the corporate accounting standards system that are consistent with international practices were formally established.
