Wang Shouren, the most famous thinker and strategist in the Ming Dynasty, died

Wang Shouren (1472-1529), Han nationality, was born in Yuyao, Zhejiang. The word Bo 'an is called Yangmingzi. He was called Mr. Yangming in the world, so he was also called Wang Yangming. China was the most famous thinker, philosopher, litterateur and military strategist in the Ming Dynasty. Lu Wang was a master of spiritual learning. He was not only proficient in Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism, but also able to lead troops in war. He was an all-powerful scholar rare in China's history. He was awarded the title of "Xian Confucianism" and was worshipped at the 58th place in the east wing of the Confucian Temple.

Wang Shouren (Yangming) (1472.9.30 - 1529.1.9), who was demoted to Longchang Station in Guizhou (now Xiuwen County, Guiyang City), the inn is dilapidated and uninhabitable. Now located in the foothills of Fufeng Mountain in the east of Guiyang City, the "Yangming Temple", which was built in the 19th year of Jiaqing Qing Dynasty (1814), was built to commemorate Mr. Wang Yangming.

Wang Shouren had been intelligent since childhood and was very eager to learn, but he was not limited to the Four Books and Five Classics, and he also liked other books very much. His thoughts were also rather peculiar, and many private school teachers had always been unable to understand him. There was a limerick he made that could well illustrate his thoughts:

The mountain is near the moon and far away, and the moon is small, so I said that this mountain is larger than the moon.

If people have eyes as big as the sky, they will also see mountains and moons wider.

According to textual research, the author Wang Shouren was fourteen years old at the time. This poem is called "The Mountain House of the Blind Moon", which is Wang Shouren's first poem that has been passed down through the ages.

He used Zhuge Liang to describe himself and was determined to do something. After that, he studied hard and made great progress in his studies. I am becoming increasingly proficient in riding, archery and art of war. In the 12th year of Hongzhi of the Ming Dynasty (1499), he was admitted to the Jinshi and was awarded the title of chief of the Ministry of War. At that time, everyone in the court knew that he was a learned man, but Zhang Zhong, the eunuch of the prefect's military affairs, believed that Wang Shouren had been appointed as the head of the Ministry of War as a scholar, so he despised Shouren. Once, he forced Shouren to shoot an arrow in public, wanting to embarrass himself. Shouren refused repeatedly, but Zhang Zhong refused. Shouren had to raise his bow and arrow, draw the bow, and brush three arrows in a flash. All three shots hit the red heart. The whole army cheered, which made Zhang Zhong very embarrassed. Wang Shouren served as chief of the Ministry of War for three years. In the first year of Zhengde in the Ming Dynasty (1506), he was sentenced to forty years of imprisonment and demoted to a post in Longchang (governed by Xiuwen County), Guizhou Province. After Liu Jin was executed, he served as governor of Luling County and was promoted to Shaoqing of Nantaipu Temple. At that time, Wang Qiong was appointed Minister of the Ministry of War, thinking that Shouren had extraordinary talents and recommended the court. In the eleventh year of Zhengde (1516), he was promoted to the right Qian Capital Censor and succeeded as the governor of southern Jiangxi. He mounted his horse to govern the army, dismounted his horse to govern the people, and civil servants were in charge of the military charms. He integrated civil and military strategies into his body. He was smart and agile in doing things and used troops quickly. He was awarded the title of Minister of the Nanjing Ministry of War for suppressing the peasant uprising and putting down the "Chenhao Rebellion" and was awarded the title of "Xinjian Uncle". Later, due to his high achievements and being taboo, he resigned and returned to his hometown to give lectures. He established academies in Shaoxing and Yuyao to preach "Wang's Studies." In the sixth year of Jiajing (1527), he was re-assigned to the governor of Guangdong and Guangxi. Later, due to his lung disease, he petitioned for his return. On November 29, 1528 (January 9, 1529), he died of pneumonia in Zhouzhong, Nan 'an, Jiangxi Province.
