On this day, 95 years ago, on February 17, 1930 (January 19, 1930 in the lunar calendar), China and foreign countries signed contracts with China's laws and implemented them in the Concession. On February 17, 1930, China and foreign countries signed Article 10 of the Agreement on China Courts in the Shanghai Public Concession, which stipulated that it would come into effect on April 1, 1930. The agreement will completely abolish the observation and joint trial, and the court will organize trials at the fourth level of China, and all China laws will apply. Therefore, the Second Branch of Jiangsu High Court and the Shanghai Special Administrative Region District Court were established on the same day. After receiving a note from the envoys of the six countries on the signing of an agreement on setting up a branch of the High Court and a local court in the Shanghai Public Concession, China Foreign Minister Wang Zhengting ordered Xu Mo, in the name of representing the foreign minister, to copy the envoys of Brazil, the United States, Britain, Norway, the Netherlands, and France, and confirm them one by one according to the eight original texts.
