Fifty years ago today, on September 12th, 1975 (August 7th, 1975 in the lunar calendar), China's 3rd National Games. It was held in Beijing from September 12 to September 28, 1975. A total of 12,497 athletes from 31 teams including Taiwan Province Province participated. There were 28 adult events, 8 junior events and 6 performance events. One team with four players broke three world records six times, two players tied two world records twice, 49 teams with 83 players broke 62 national records 197 times, and four teams with 36 players broke 58 national youth records 144 times.
