Today, 72 years ago, on August 22, 1953 (Lunar Calendar, July 13, 1953), the Iranian government of Mossad collapsed. Mohammed-Mosad (1880-1967) was opposed and destroyed by reactionary forces at home and abroad since the nationalization of Iranian oil in April 1951, and on July 21, 1952, the Prime Minister of Mossad served as Minister of Defense. On August 16, 1953, the attempt of the King of Bahrain to remove Mosad's prime minister failed, and the King was forced to flee to Iraq. On September 19, the Iranian army took a coup and on July 22, the King's return, and the Government of Mossad was overthrown. Mossad was imprisoned for "treason" in the United States. On September 5, the King of Bahrain announced a subsidy of $45 million to support the King.
