British physicist and chemist Faraday has died.

In 1791, Faraday was born in the house of a poor carpenter in the outskirts of London. his father was poor in income, often sick, and had many children, so Faraday could not even eat a meal when he was a child, sometimes he could only eat a bread a week, and not go to school.

At the age of 12, Faraday went to the streets to sell newspapers, selling newspapers and writing from newspapers. At the age of 13, Faraday entered a printing factory when books were packed with teachers, and he packed books and studied. Every time he was free, he reviewed the packed books. Sometimes even on the way of delivery, he walked around and looked. After years of effort, Faraday finally removed the hats of the illiterate.

Gradually, Faraday became able to understand more and more books. He began to read the British Encyclopedia, and often read late at night. He loved books in electrical and mechanical fields. Faraday had no money to buy books, books, and used the waste paper of the printing factory to arrange notes, extract all kinds of materials, and sometimes accompany himself with illustrations.

By chance, Dance, a member of the Royal Society of England, came to the printing school and unintentionally discovered Faraday’s “hand copy.”When he was surprised to find out that it was a note of a disciple, Dance handed it to Faraday’s Royal Academy.

Faraday came to the Royal Academy with great enthusiasm. It was the famous British chemist David Faraday who at the time. Faraday looked up and listened very attentively to David's lectures. When he returned home, he compiled the hearing notes as a self-study Chemistry textbook.

Later, Faraday sent his well-assembled Chemistry textbook to Professor David, accompanied by a letter stating, “I am willing to escape from business and enter the scientific world, because in my imagination science can make people noble and friendly.”

After receiving the letter, David was deeply touched. He appreciated Faraday's talent and decided to hire him as an assistant. Faraday was very diligent and quickly mastered the experimental technique and became David's skillful assistant.

Half a year later, David went on a scientific research trip to the European continent, visited renowned scientists from all over Europe, visited chemical laboratories from all over the world. David decided to take Faraday abroad. So Faraday followed David in Europe for a year and a half, met renowned scientists such as Amber, gained a lot of insight and also learned French.

After returning home, Faraday began independent scientific research. Soon after, he discovered the phenomenon of electromagnetic sensing. In 1834, he discovered the law of electrolysis, which shook the scientific community.

Faraday relied on hard-working self-study, and from a bookkeeper who had never read in elementary school, he entered the ranks of the world's top scientists.

On August 25, 1867, Faraday died at the age of 76 while sitting in his office reading books.Because of his great contribution to electrochemistry, his surname was used—‘Faraday’ as the unit of electricity; and the abbreviation of his surname—‘Faraday’ as the unit of capacity.
