In October 1520, Leo the Great sent Eck to Germany to officially announce the expulsion of the Lutheran clergy. Luther was a prolific writer, with many of his works having a broad influence. One of his most important works was the Deuteronomy of the Bible. Luther was one of the main founders of Protestant faith and institutions. Since the first Widenburg praise poem was published in 1524, many of his poems have remained famous to this day. Luther and the Impact of the Reformation on the Afterlife

The most obvious result of the religious reform movement was the establishment of a variety of different protestant denominations. Although the Protestant community is only a branch of Christianity and not its largest branch, it still has more believers than Buddhism, in fact more than most other religions.

The second major outcome of the religious reform movement was followed by widespread religious wars in Europe, some of which were incredibly bloody wars (e.g. the Thirty Years' War in Germany from 1618 to 1648).

The religious reform movement also played a subtle but very important role in the development of Western Europe's culture. Before 1517, there was only one national religion, Roman Catholicism, and non-state believers were wearing a hat with heretical cults, an atmosphere that did not favor the independence of thought. After the religious reform movement, many different countries accepted the principle of religious freedom of thought and thought other doctrines were safer than before.

From a long-term perspective, the number of people affected by the religious disputes of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries is actually less than that of the scientific progress of the same period.
