After seven and a half months of sea sailing, the sailor returned to Plymouth on May 28, 1967, Sir Francis-Chicester returned to Britain's Port of Plymouth from the quiet and vast sea. On the port, people bounced and glittered, and people welcomed him to complete his solo globe sailing. Chicester looked tired but healthy.
