The international anti-war congress was held on August 27, 1932, in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In 1932-1933, because of the increasing danger of the war, there was a broad anti-war, anti-fascist democratic movement. The movement was initiated by advanced intellectuals. According to the initiative of Henry Babise and Roman Roland, the international anti-war congress was established in the spring of 1932. The committee was also led by special anti-war committees, including Maxim Gorky, Massai Ghan, Elena Stasova, etc., because of the growing danger of the war.
