The 2016 G20 Summit in Hangzhou, China refers to the G20 Summit held in Hangzhou, China from 4 to 5 September 2016. The G20 is an international economic cooperation forum, announced in Washington on 25 September 1999 by the Ministers of Finance of the G8 as part of an informal dialogue mechanism within the framework of the Bretton Woods system, consisting of the former G8 and the other 12 key economies. The theme of the summit is "building an innovative, vibrant, connected and inclusive world economy".
