On October 25, 1996, renowned writer, art theorist, film entrepreneur, Chen Wu Coal died of illness in Beijing, aged 83. Chen Wu Coal was originally named Chen Guo Me, Hubei Zhou Yuan in 1927, joined the Communist Youth League of China in 1932, joined the Wuhan Left Theater Union and the General Alliance of Anti-Imperial Culture for more than half a century, and joined the Communist Party of China in 1938, after his liberation, he wrote more than 20 novels, reports, literature, poetry, criticism and film reviews, as well as leadership in cultural, film, literature and other departments and academic groups, and made a great contribution to the development of the Chinese culture cause.
