Breaking-News >> TodayHistory Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry – Bayer’s Birthday
King William IV of Prussia was in a very good mood this day, and he intended to hold a feast in the court for a scientist who had long known that he was a genius, so he personally came to the palace to welcome him.But when he saw the scientist, he was so young. Bayer was born on October 31, 1835, his father was a General General of the Prussian General Staff, although he was from the army, but was passionate about science. After the veterans, at age 50, he also studied geology, and at the age of 76 became director of the Berlin Geological Institute. His mother was a bride-in-law, Bejer was well educated from childhood. On Bayer's 10th birthday, he thought that his parents would celebrate his birthday like other parents, but his mother took him to his grandmother's house to spend a day, and he was surprised. On the way home, his mother said to him: "I was born you, your father was 41, and he was still an old man. Now, like you, I am working hard, I am going to take the exam tomorrow, I don't want to delay his study because Once, Bayer said to his father, "Jagulla is only six years older than I am..." his words were not finished, the father asked, "What about the age of six, is it not worth studying? when I read geology, some teachers are 30 years younger than me, did not learn?" Bayer did not fail to meet his parents' education and expectations. During the first two years of his studies at the University of Berlin, he studied physics and mathematics, and in 1856 he began to study chemistry. He received a doctorate from the University of Berlin in 1858. His doctoral thesis, The Comprehensive Study of the Condensation of Organic Compounds, opened a new path for chemical research. Through his humble scholarship and hard work, he discovered the three basic chromosome structures of the modern world. Achievements in organic dyes and fragrances achieved what his mother hoped to “make our world more colorful”. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for Chemistry at age 70 and died at age 82.
