On September 27, 1932, the composer Dickett of the International Song died. Dickett (1848-1932), a French worker composer. Born in the Belgian city of Gent, a textile worker family. Seven years of age entered a textile factory to work as a child labourer. In 1863-1865 he listened to the Music Academy of Lille. After studying woodworking and becoming a furniture manufacturer in June 1888, he became an active participant in the workers' movement. He led the workers' choir such as the "Lila of the Workers" in Lille. In March 1871, on his way to Paris to participate in the proletarian revolution, he was arrested by the Prussian occupation army. In June 1888, after reading the Poet's poem, he wrote the "International Song of the Workers" and became an active leader
