Today, 79 years ago, on October 1, 1946 (Lunar Calendar September 7, 1946), the Yangtze Film Factory was established. In 1958, the Yangtze Film Factory was established on October 1, 1946, when it filmed the story film The Party's Daughter. The Yangtze Film Factory was abbreviated as "Long Film", formerly known as the Northeast Film Factory, and changed its current name in 1955. It was the first major comprehensive film factory established under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, and was the cornerstone of the new Chinese film. Long Film created six "first": the first wood doll, the first animated film, the first science film, the first short story film, the first minister's story and the first translation film were all born in the long film.
