After graduation, he worked in a law firm in Chicago and then taught at the University of Chicago.

Obama was elected Senator of Illinois three times in 1996, 1998 and 2002.In the 2004 Congressional elections, Obama was elected Senator of the United States.In 2008, Obama was elected 44th President of the United States, and took office on January 20, 2009.

Obama’s wife, Michelle, was his classmate at Harvard University, and they had two daughters.
