French 18th-century leader Babev died

Barbeff, a French revolutionary and fanatical communist. After the hot moon coup, Barbeff organized a secret group, the Equality Society, to conspire to seize power and establish a working-class dictatorship. He was arrested by the government along with other leaders of the conspiracy movement because of the betrayal, and was sentenced to death on 27 May 1797 by the Supreme Court of Van Damme. Barbeff was the editor of the People's Forum, urging the people to abolish private ownership, to establish a "universally happy" and "equal" society; and to plan to establish a "Communist Commune" centered on agriculture with the characteristics of mediocrity and abstinence.
