June 26, 1950 Day of South Africa's Freedom
Today, 75 years ago, on June 26, 1950 (Calendar 12 May 1950), the Day of South African Freedom, the Government of the National Party of South Africa issued decrees such as the Population Registration Law, the Group Residence Law, and the Communist Regulations and attacked the demonstration masses protesting the politics of apartheid on the "Five-Year-Old" Day. The National Congress of South African People called for a demonstration of the entire population of the South African Federation to protest the policies of apartheid and the fascist decrees of the authorities to pay tribute to the masses victims of the "Five-Year-Old" Day. Called for the support and response of the Communist Party of South Africa, the Indian Congress and other organizations. The national strike and demonstration of June 26, 1950 broke out, and the government of South Africa
