Italian composer Domenico Chimarrosa.

On December 17, 1749, the Italian composer Domenico Chimarrosa was born.
Domenico Chimarrosa (1749-1801) was one of the most important Italian opera composers of the 18th century. Chimarrosa was famous in Europe during the Italian period for his opera The Secret of the Count (1772). In 1789 he was invited to serve as a court composer for the Russian queen Cecilia II. In 1791 he went to Vienna as the court orchestrator of the Austrian Emperor Leopold II, during which he created the famous comedy The Secret Wedding Memory (1792). Chimarrosa wrote 70 operas, the best in comedy.
