Today, 45 years ago, on November 7, 1980 (Calendar 30 September 1980), yellow fever broke out in Ghana and Latin America. On November 7, 1980, an epidemiological statistics published by the World Health Organization in Geneva stated that yellow fever continued to plague in some countries in Africa since 1979 in Ghana and Latin America. In Africa, yellow fever occurred in 1979, in which one hundred and twenty deaths occurred. Almost all of these cases occurred in Ghana. In Latin America, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago, a total of twenty-five people died last year with yellow fever, one hundred and sixty.
