Benjamin Harrison (August 20, 1833 – March 13, 1901) was the 23rd President of the United States (March 4, 1889 – March 4, 1893), a Republican born in Ohio, his father was a congressman; his grandfather, William Henry Harrison, was the 9th President of the United States; his grandfather, Benjamin Harrison, was one of the founders of the United States, and was a representative of the Continental Congress, who signed the famous Declaration of Independence. Harrison was well educated, graduated from the University of Miami, and graduated as a lawyer. He joined the Federal Army during the Northern War, was awarded the rank of a general and a general during the Northern War. In 1881, he became a senator. In 1888, he was nominated by the Republican presidential candidate and won the election, and was the leading speaker among the U.S. presidents.
