Today, 30 years ago, on December 11, 1995 (Calendar 20 October 1995) a letter explosion occurred in Berlin. On the night of December 11, 1995, a letter bomb exploded at a post office near Berlin, Germany, where the recipient was German Prime Minister Kohl. According to the German Federal Prosecutor¡¯s Office on October 12, at about 8:15 p.m., when a post office employee placed the mail in a box, the mail exploded. At about 15 p.m., when the experts touched the remnants of the mail, the explosion occurred again. The explosion did not cause any casualties. The bomb letter did not fall, and it was unknown who the perpetrator was and what the motive was.
