Today, 89 years ago, on December 11, 1936 (October 28, 1936), Keynes published the Employment, Interest and Monetary Review. In December 1936, John-Maynard-Keynes published his Employment, Interest and Monetary Review, which provided the answer to the problem of "how can people who are willing to work find a job". Keynes wrote that a depression would arise when the total demand of consumers and investors was not enough to buy all the commodities produced by society. His solution was to increase money investments to lower interest rates and stimulate investment. He also advocated that the government should pursue a positive fiscal deficit policy when building public facilities and make imbalanced budgets to drive the total demand for commodities to increase.
