On October 29, 2004 (Calendar 16 September 2004), World Stroke Day. On June 24, 2004, at the 5th World Stroke Conference held in Vancouver, Canada, representatives of neuroscience experts from all over the world issued a declaration calling for the establishment of the “World Stroke Day”. This declaration will be submitted to the World Health Organization. The declaration states that stroke has become the second-largest cause of death in the world population, after heart disease. A group of diseases, including stroke and stroke (cerebral stroke) is also referred to as “stroke”, “cerebral vascularaccident, CVA”. It is an acute cerebrovascular disease, which is due to a sudden rupture of the brain vessels or a blood vessel blockage that leads to a loss of blood flow into the brain
