by Wilde Oscar Wilde (1854-1900) was born in the 19th century in England (Ireland, to be precise, but then ruled by Britain). In 1895, the Marquess of Queensberry found his son, Lord Alfred Douglas (called “Bosie”) accusing Wilde of a four-year relationship with Wilde, and placed a note at Wilde’s regular celebrity club: “To Oscar Wilde, the chicken rapist.” openly accused Wilde of being a good man’s “collateral” (the term “gay” was not yet born at the time). The Marquis of Queensbury was a violent father who had long argued with Douglas, and the angry Alfred Douglas called Wilde to immediately appeal and accuse the Marquis of corrupting his reputation. As a result, Wilde failed to appeal, and was further accused of having "committed acts of gross indecency with other male persons" in prison. According to the 1855 British Criminal Amendment Part 11, Wilde was convicted and served two years in the Reddin and Bentonville prisons. During the two years, Wilde stopped writing theaters, writing poems in the prison, "The Song of the Reddin Prison" and a collection of letters, "The Abyss of the Jinn." In these two works, his style changed and it was difficult to find the influence of idealism. During On May 1, 1895, the jury could not reach an agreement on Wilde's charges, and one juror agreed to release Wilde on bail. On May 7th, he was released on bail. On May 20th, the case was held for the second time. On May 25, Wilde was sentenced to two years of forced labor for "gross indecency". He was first imprisoned at Bentonville Prison in London, transferred to Wandsworth Prison in London on July 4, and transferred to Reading Prison, 30 miles west of London, on November 20. On September 24th and November 12th of that year, the court conducted two bankruptcy investigations against Wilde, and then declared him bankrupt.
