The International Day for the Elimination of Domestic Violence was celebrated on November 25th, in recognition of the International Day for the Elimination of Domestic Violence and in commemoration of this event, the first Latin American Women¡¯s Rights Conference, held in July 1981, proclaimed November 25th as the International Day for the Elimination of Domestic Violence and decided on November 25th to December 10th to hold an annual campaign on the subject of Domestic Violence.
