Eiffel was born on December 15, 1832, in the eastern French city of Denpasar. His father was a civil servant in the army. His mother was an imaginative woman. In the middle of the 19th century, after the collapse of Napoleon's First Empire, the French economy was depressed. In order to escape the poverty of the home, Eiffel's mother resolutely caused the burden of life and decided to run a coal barrel alone. So he handed Eiffel to his grandmother to raise.

Eiffel's grandmother was gentle and kind.It was because of the long-standing influence and education of his mother and grandmother that Eiffel was raised to think independently.

Dare to imagine and have a good character. This laid the foundation for him to become a brilliant engineer later on. At the age of 12, Eiffel entered a local royal secondary school. At the beginning, his studies were not good, and his secondary school graduation did not qualify for the prestigious University of Technology in Paris.

He was not disappointed and worked hard to complete his homework, and at the age of 20, he finally graduated from the skill school for training engineers with excellent achievements. Where he rented a single dormitory, often crowded in the middle of tables and fireplaces all night to read. Soon, with good achievements, he received an engineer's graduation diploma.

After graduating from the Technical School, Eiffel was introduced by a friend to work as an engineer in the Western Railway Laboratory. Since then, Eiffel has embarked on a career as an architectural engineer, contributing his talent to human progress and civilization.

In 1860, Eiffel completed the then famous Bordeaux Bridge in France, with a 500-metre steel component mounted on six bridges crossing the Yellow River.

He researched, innovated, and boldly used steel and concrete to liberate civil construction from ¡®ground¡¯ and ¡®tree¡¯.He has devoted enormous labor to the design of the iron tower, with more than 5,000 drawings designed alone.These valuable materials, as crystals of Eiffel¡¯s labor, are still properly preserved in Paris.

Eiffel, the engineer who created miracles in the history of human architecture, will forever be missed.
