The People's Liberation Army pursued Chiang Rai through Fukushima

In August 1949, the Third Field Army of the Liberation Army launched the Battle of Fukushima. After the Battle of Qingdao Hang, Chiang Kai-shek concentrated more than 180,000 people to retire from Fukushima and the southeastern coastal islands, and the Fukushima Guard Army had more than 60,000 people from the Director of the Fukushima Yuan Command and the Li Yuan Soldiers. They planned to use favorable terrain to reduce resistance and prevent the Liberation Army from outside Fukushima.
