Singed Isaac Bashevis Singer (1904-1991), an American Jewish writer, was known as the "master of short stories" of the 20th century. He won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1978. Singer was born on July 14, 1904 in the Leonsin region of Poland. In 1919, when Singh was 15 years old, he began writing in Hebrew; In 1921, when Singer was 17 years old, he switched to Yiddish writing. In 1923, Singh worked in a newspaper in Warsaw with his brother. In 1935, on the eve of the German occupation of Warsaw, Singh emigrated from Poland to the United States, Singh lived in the United States as an editor and writer, and later in New York as a journalist and columnist in the Jewish Daily Daily.
