On July 28, 2007, the last Emperor of Vietnam, Prince Nguyen Fukuyama, died.
On July 28th, 2007 (June 15th, 2007 in the lunar calendar), Nguyen Phuc Baolong, the crown prince of Bao Dai, the last emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty of Vietnam, died. Nguyen Phuc Bao Long (January 4, 1936-July 28, 2007) was the crown prince of Bao Dai, the last emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty in Vietnam, and the successor of the dynasty. Born in Hue, Paulon arrived in France with the Empress in 1947, and was educated in Normandy and Paris respectively, majoring in law and politics. In 1953, he was invited to represent the Vietnamese royal family to attend the coronation ceremony of Queen Elizabeth II in London. He then joined the French Foreign Legion and took part in the Algerian War of Independence, and his performance won many accolades. After 10 years, he quit the Foreign Legion, returned to France and worked in a private bank. In 1997, Bao Da died, and Bao Long inherited the status of Ruan's parents. He has been living in seclusion in Paris, not participating in politics, and has always drawn a clear line with political groups such as the "Vietnam Constitutional Monarchy Alliance" that strive to restore the constitutional monarchy. Comment: It is against the trend of the times to engage in constitutional monarchy in this era. But as a crown prince, it is very valuable to not participate in politics.
