The father of the Austrian court musician Leopold Mozart was born.

Leopold Mozart
On November 14th, 1719, Leopold Mozart, Austrian court musician, composer, violinist and father of Mozart, was born.
He was a German composer, conductor, music teacher and violinist. He not only contributed to Western music as the father and enlightenment teacher of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, but also wrote the most important violin education literature of the time—A paper on the basic principles of violin play.
To allow Mozart to grow rapidly, Leopold worked hard and carefully to cultivate his son's study and training was extremely rigorous, in addition to complex music theory and playing skills, Latin, French, Italian, English as well as literature and literature.
Since 1762, under the guidance of his father, the six-year-old Mozart and his 10-year-old sister Anna began to travel across the European continent. They have traveled to Munich, Frankfurt, Bonn, Vienna, Paris, London, Milan, Poland, Florence, Naples, Rome, Amsterdam and many other places, wherever they did not cause a huge shock! In the capital of Austria, Vienna, they were invited to perform in the royal palace.
Behind the flowers, applause and cheers are hard labor, demanding conditions and terrible trials. For the sake of money and honor, Leopold demanded that Mozart be ready to perform in public at any time, no matter how tiring the journey was. In order to promote his son's genius, he made him have to meet all kinds of unexpected and whimsical proposals from the audience. Such as: sight-reading music with difficult skills that have never been exposed to before on the spot; Improvise music according to several bass tones temporarily imagined by the audience, and play immediately according to the specified tonality. Cover the keyboard with multiple handkerchiefs without affecting playing the piano; Playing your own works from beginning to end in a concert, and so on. Moreover, such performances almost always last for four or five hours.
In June 1781, Mozart finally broke publicly with the archbishop. Leopold had urged his son to apologize to the archbishop and get back together, but Mozart resolutely refused. In his reply to his father, he wrote: I can't stand this anymore. The mind nobles a man. I'm no duke, but probably much more upright than many inherited dukes. I am ready to sacrifice my happiness, my health and even my life. My personality, to me and to you, should be the most precious!
