On this day, 82 years ago, on June 4, 1943 (the second day of the fifth lunar month), the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China issued the "Decision on Leadership Methods." On June 4, 1943, the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee issued the "Decision on Leadership Methods" drafted by Mao Zedong. This "Decision" gathers the experience of the rectification movement and also the long-term experience of the Communist Party of China in leading revolutionary work, and explains the basic methods of leadership work. This decision profoundly elaborated on the leadership method of combining general calls with individual guidance, and combining leadership with the masses. The decision pointed out: "In all practical work of our party, all correct leadership must come from and go to the masses. That is to say, the opinions of the masses (scattered and unsystematic opinions) are collected (transformed into systematic opinions after research), and then go to the masses to publicize and explain them, and turn them into opinions of the masses, so that the masses can persist and see them in actions., and test whether these opinions are correct in mass actions. Then gather from the masses and persist among the masses. Such an infinite cycle is more correct, more vivid and richer each time. This is the Marxist epistemology." The "Decision" calls on all leading comrades of the party to use Marxist scientific leadership methods to overcome bureaucratic leadership methods at any time.
