Constitution in battle

December 29, 1812, the United States Frigate ConstitutionUnder the command of Captain William Bainbridge, the USS successfully captured Britain after three hours of fierce fighting Frigate JavaNo. This naval battle became a classic battle of the U.S. Navy privateers during the Second Revolutionary War. The Constitution captured as many as eight British ships before and after, including many combat ships.
