On this day, 32 years ago, on August 31, 1993 (July 14, 1993 in the lunar calendar), Unit 1 of the Dayawan Nuclear Power Station was successfully connected to the grid for power generation. On August 31, 1993, the first large-scale nuclear power plant in Chinese mainland to introduce foreign investment, equipment and technology-Unit 1 of Guangdong Dayawan Nuclear Power Station was successfully connected to the grid for power generation.
