Since there is no mechanical friction resistance between the wheel and rail and the vehicle, the vehicle has the advantages of smooth and comfortable operation, low noise and no pollution. In December 1998, Changchun Passenger Car Factory signed a technical cooperation agreement with Southwest Jiaotong University, Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Research Institute and Qingchengshan Maglev Train Engineering Co., Ltd. to jointly develop and develop my country's first maglev train engineering demonstration line, which was completed in 1999. The design task was completed on December 30. It is reported that this maglev bus will arrive in Chengdu at the end of this month. It will first complete various performance tests on the 43-meter steel structure test line on Southwest Jiaotong University, and then transport it to Qingcheng Mountain for tourism commercial operations and practical experiments.
