On this day, 82 years ago, on September 9, 1943 (August 10, 1943 in the lunar calendar), the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China criticized Wang Ming's rightist capitulationism. On September 9-10, 1943, the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee held three consecutive meetings to criticize Wang Ming's right-wing capitulationist mistakes in the early days of the Anti-Japanese War. The meeting listed Wang Ming's main mistakes. The meeting held that the essence of Wang Ming's right-wing capitulationist mistakes is to abandon the proletarian leadership in the Anti-Japanese National United Front. Many comrades spoke and criticized Wang Ming's mistakes, and some criticized themselves. At the meeting, Zhou Enlai reviewed the history of the party from 1927 to 1943 and analyzed the reasons for Wang Ming's mistakes. Mao Zedong emphasized that in reviewing mistakes, we must adopt historical methods, criticism and self-criticism methods, and for comrades who make mistakes, we must implement the policy of learning from past mistakes to avoid future ones and curing illnesses and saving lives. Zhu De pointed out in his speech: Wang Ming ignored guerrilla warfare and did not understand that China's revolution relied on guerrilla warfare to develop its own strength. Wang Ming thought highly of Chiang Kai-shek and looked down on small parties. He had no central government within the party. He claimed to represent the Communist International and claimed to be independent of the Secretariat of the Central Committee. In short, Wang Ming obeyed everything externally and was "independent and self-reliant" internally. Wang Ming (1904-1974) went to study at Sun Yat-sen University in Moscow in 1925 and joined the Communist Party of China. At the Fourth Plenary Session of the Sixth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in 1931, with the support of Mif, representative of the Communist International, he was elected to the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee. In June 1931, General Secretary Xiang Zhongfa was arrested and betrayed. Mif appointed Wang Ming as acting secretary in the name of the international community. The party began the third erroneous rule of the "Left", which brought great harm to the revolution. In the early days of the Anti-Japanese War, when he served as secretary of the Yangtze River Bureau in Wuhan, he caused great losses to the party. After the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949, Wang Ming served as deputy director of the Political and Legal Committee of the State Council. In 1956, he went to the Soviet Union to settle down. Later, he wrote articles under the pseudonym "Mamavich" and "Popovich" to distort our party's history and attack Mao Zedong Thought. He died of illness in Moscow on March 27, 1974.
