On this day, 118 years ago, June 17, 1907 (May 7, 1907 in the lunar calendar), there were differences within the Alliance, and Zhang Binglin and Sun Yat-sen were opposed. On June 17, 1907, in order to launch the domestic revolution in Hong Kong, Sun Yat-sen sent Japanese Nagao Keno back to Japan to purchase 2000 Murata style fast guns, each carrying 600 rounds of ammunition. The Murata style fast gun is a backward weapon. When Japanese friends such as Hirayama, Saburo Wada, and Kiichi Teru learned about it, they informed Zhang Binglin and Song Jiaoren. Zhang Binglin was furious and said: "The arms purchased by Sun were Murata style. This formula has long been used in Japan. Wouldn't it cost our comrades 'lives if they were used in China? It can be seen that Sun is really unreasonable, and we want to destroy him!" So Zhang Binglin telegraphed Hong Kong's China Daily in plain code, saying that the equipment was too bad to use, so please stop purchasing separately. Sun Yat-sen thought that he had leaked military secrets and was very angry, so Hu Hanmin wrote a letter to the headquarters condemning Zhang Binglin and claiming to enforce discipline. He then sent Lin Wen back to Tokyo and prohibited Zhang Binglin and Song Jiaoren from interfering in military issues again. Sun Yat-sen also wrote a letter to Shinzo Miyazaki, saying that since then, he no longer trusted Taizu Hirayama, Kitaichi Teru, Wada, etc., and that Miyazaki alone had to "handle difficulties" in Japan's work, and no one in the League Headquarters or the People's Press Office needed to discuss with him. Liu Kuiyi therefore wrote a letter to Huang Xing and wrote to Feng Ziyou and Hu Hanmin, quoting Wanfang's warning that the crime was the fault of one person, and asking Feng and Hu to persuade Sun Yat-sen to take the blame and apologize to the headquarters of the Tokyo Alliance. Sun Yat-sen replied: "There is no reason to blame for intra-party disputes as long as the facts are sufficient to resolve them." He also said that it is possible to resign as prime minister, but only when the Alliance Headquarters and Zhang Binglin admit their mistakes. Huang Xing wrote a reply saying: "The life and death of revolutionary party members is a matter of personal name and status. Premier Sun is highly respected. If you want the revolution to succeed, please do not misunderstand and support it wholeheartedly, and avoid being trapped and prosperous by injustice." Huang Xing's attitude calmed the internal strife among the Alliance. However, Sun Yat-sen was no longer willing to interfere with the work of the Alliance headquarters, and the organization of the Alliance became increasingly fragmented.
