On this day, 100 years ago, on October 15, 1925 (August 28, 1925 in the lunar calendar), the Zhejiang-Feng War broke out. On October 15, 1925, Sun Chuanfang, the patrol envoy of Fujian and Zhejiang, fought without announcing it and launched a fierce attack on the Feng army. The Zhejiang-Feng War broke out. After the end of the Second Zhifeng War in November 1924, Feng army general Zhang Zongchang entered Shanghai. On February 3, Sun Chuanfang, who was appointed as the supervisor of Zhejiang, and Feng Jun signed a peace treaty between Jiangsu and Zhejiang, agreeing that no troops would be stationed in Shanghai. In May, Sun Chuanfang withdrew his troops from Shanghai. However, the Fengjun did not withdraw troops in accordance with the agreement. On August 29, at the request of Zhang Zuolin, Duan Qirui appointed Yang Yuting, a general of the Feng Dynasty, as the supervisor of Jiangsu, and Jiang Deng was elected as the supervisor of Anhui. The entire line of Tianjin and Pu was controlled by the Feng Dynasty warlords, intensifying the conflict between Zhejiang and Fengzhou. Sun Chuanfang decided to expel Zhang Zuolin's forces. On October 10, Sun Chuanfang secretly held a meeting of representatives from Fujian, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Anhui, Jiangxi and other provinces in Hangzhou to discuss anti-Feng. At the same time, he contacted Feng Yuxiang's national army and decided to take the initiative and fight without declaring it. On the 15th, in the name of the commander-in-chief of the five-province coalition forces, on the pretext that the Fengjun were stationed in Zhejiang and Shanghai to undermine peace, he sent a telegram to denounce and launched a sudden attack on the Fengjun. Sun Chuanfang divided three divisions into five routes to attack the Feng army. In order to preserve its strength, the Feng army retreated from Shanghai. Nanjing fell on the 19th. On the 21st, Wu Peifu claimed to be the commander-in-chief of the coalition forces in 14 provinces and announced that he would "crusade against rebels." The Zhejiang-Fengfeng War became the third direct and Fengfeng War. On the 23rd, Sun's army entered Bengbu, and the two armies held a stalemate between Suju and Jiagou in Anhui.
