Zhu Di (1360 - 1424), the founder of the Ming Dynasty, was the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty. The fourth son of Zhu Yuanzhang, Taizu of the Ming Dynasty, was born in Yingtian (now Nanjing, Jiangsu).
