Norway writer Grieg was born

Grieg was born in Bergen on November 1, 1902. Norway writer.

In his youth, he studied in Oslo and Oxford and enjoyed traveling well. In 1924, he published the novel "Ship Moving Forward", which describes the lives of sailors. From 1926 to 1927, he served as a war correspondent in China. After returning to China, he wrote the script "Barabas" to introduce Norway readers and audiences to the revolutionary situation in China at that time. The novel "The World is Still Young" published in 1938 describes what the author saw and heard during his stay in the Soviet Union from 1932 to 1934. The play "Failure" was published in 1937 and is based on the author's experience of participating in the Spanish Civil War. He is a patriotic writer. The collection of poems "Norway in Our Hearts" expresses his passionate love for his motherland. During World War II, he served as an officer in the Norway army and followed the Norway government-in-exile to fight in Britain. His poems and radio conversations became the clarion call for freedom in Norway. He died on December 2, 1943 while participating in the air raid on Berlin.
