The court found Boyarcharyev guilty of having participated in an illegal group aimed at using force to separate Birin from the People's Republic of Bulgaria, and spreading defamatory rumors in an attempt to arouse distrust of the people's government and its agencies and spread uneasiness among the masses; He also collected intelligence related to state secrets and handed it to the Yugoslav secret service. Based on the above-mentioned crimes committed by the defendant, the court ruled that Boyarcharyev was sentenced to 8 years of rigorous imprisonment, 10 years of deprivation of rights, a fine of 100,000 livares, and half of his property confiscated.
