On this day, 64 years ago, on October 15, 1961 (September 6, 1961, the lunar calendar), Zhou Enlai attended the 22nd National Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and clarified the position of the Communist Party. Mao Zedong and Liu Shaoqi went to the airport to welcome Zhou Enlai, who returned from the 22nd Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. From October 15 to 24, 1961, Zhou Enlai led a delegation of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union to participate in the 22nd Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. The congress publicly criticized the Workers 'Party of Albania, which was not invited to the congress, and once again fiercely criticized Stalin. Under such circumstances, Zhou Enlai, head of the Communist Party of China delegation, delivered a speech to the conference on the 19th, seriously pointing out that the conferences of representatives of the Communist Parties and Workers 'Parties of various countries held in 1957 and 1960 were meetings of great historical significance in the international communist movement. The 1957 Manifesto and the 1960 Manifesto are the platforms for joint action of Communist and Workers 'Parties of all countries. The declaration and statement pointed out that the unity of the socialist camp and the unity of the international communist movement are the guarantee for the victory of the people of the world in their struggle for world peace, national liberation, democracy and socialism. Maintaining this great unity is the internationalist obligation of us Communists. In his speech, Zhou Enlai also emphasized that if disputes and differences unfortunately arise between brother parties and brother countries, they should be patiently resolved in accordance with the spirit of proletarian internationalism, the principles of equality and consensus. Unfair and one-sided accusations against any brother party will not help unity or solve problems. Publicly exposing disputes between brother parties and brother countries to the enemy cannot be regarded as a solemn attitude of Marxism-Leninism. This attitude can only make relatives sad and enemies happy. The Communist Party of China sincerely hopes that the brother parties with disputes and differences will reunite on the basis of Marxism-Leninism and on the basis of mutual respect, independence and equality.
