Twenty-seven years ago today, August 29, 1998 (July 8, 1998, the Lunar Calendar), Operation International Smile. During the "International Smile Operation" held on August 29, 1998, more than 50 medical staff and volunteers from the United States, Colombia, Singapore, the Philippines and other countries and my country's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region gathered at Beijing Plastic Surgery Hospital to provide free treatment to children with lip and cleft palate in China.
