Shen Qingzhi (386-465.12.6 AD), also known as Hongxian, was born in Wuxing Wukang (now Wukang Town, Deqing, Zhejiang) and was a famous general in the Southern Song Dynasty.

Shen Qingzhi had few ambitions, but he was also powerful. In the third year of Long'an in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (399 AD), Sun En caused chaos. When Shen Qingzhi was not yet 20 years old, he followed the townships and fought against the rebellious army, and was famous for his bravery. Later, he followed the prefect of Jingling, Zhao Bofu, to suppress the mountain barbarians, and made repeated achievements.

In the second year of Yongzi (421 AD), Shen Qingzhi was appointed as a general of Yuanwai in the palace. In the seventh year of Yuanjia (430 AD), he and Zhao Bofu participated in the famous Song Dynasty's attack on Henan of the Wei Dynasty. Zhao Bofu returned home from illness halfway, while Shen Qingzhi followed Tan Daoji to continue the Northern Expedition. After the Song army returned to the army, Tan Daoji praised Shen Qingzhi as "loyal, cautious and knowledgeable" when meeting Emperor Wen. Emperor Wen then asked Shen Qingzhi to lead the team to defend the Dongye Gate, and he could only lead him in and out of the province. Later, he left to guard Qiantang New City. In the first month of the 30th year of Yuanjia (453 AD), Emperor Liu Yilong of Song Wen was killed by Crown Prince Liu Shao. Shen Qingzhi and King Liu Jun of Wuling led an army to crusade, and Liu Shao was killed in May. After Liu Jun ascended the throne, Shen Qingzhi was appointed as the prefect of Yanzhou, and the regular attendant was the same as before, and he was the town of Xuyi. Later, he was named the Duke of Nanchang County and the town of Guangling. In the first year of Xiaojian (454 AD), Shen Qingzhi pacified the rebellion between Liu Yixuan, the king of Nanxian County, and the governor of Jiangzhou. Because of his merits, he was named the general of Zhenjing University, and he entered the three prefectures of Qing, Ji and You, and preached one. In April of the third year of the Ming Dynasty (459 AD), Liu Jun ordered Shen Qingzhi to lead troops to attack Liu Dan, and soon he appointed Shen Qingzhi as Sikong. In September of the fifth year of the Ming Dynasty (461 AD), Shen Qingzhi resigned as Sikong. Liu Jun agreed, but still ordered him to participate in the court meeting, ranking next to Sikong, and his salary remained the same as the three divisions. In the first year of Yongguang (465 AD), Shen Qingzhi was sentenced to death by Liu Ziye, the former deposed emperor, at the age of eighty. After the death of Shen Qingzhi, Liu Ziye claimed that he had passed away from illness and rewarded him very generously. He was posthumously awarded the title of a servant. The marshal remained the same. He gave Luan a chariot and a chariot, with feathers and trumpets in front and back, and the posthumous title of Duke Zhongwu. Before Shen Qingzhi was buried, Liu Ziye was deposed. Liu Yu, King of Xiangdong, became the emperor. He posthumously awarded Shen Qingzhi the title of Shizhong and Sikong, and the posthumous title of "Duke Xiang." In the seventh year of Taishi (471 AD), he was granted the title of Duke of Cangwu County.
